Miami a go-go
A quick post to say I'm off to Miami! My bloodcounts this morning were all back to normal - I still feel quite tired and have a bit of a cough left, but the docs felt a week relaxing by the pool might help that. I'll start chemo the day after I return next Tuesday. So I am doing some final packing and then off to the airport! I meet Shelley in the Toronto airport tomorrow morning. Thanks to everyone who did some "white count" wishes...it worked!

Your latest news is as good as it gets. We hope that you and Shelley have a great time in Miami together. It's nice that you get to meet up in Toronto, travel together and spend a week "relaxing by the pool". Hopefully, you will be refreshed and ready for the next round of chemo on your return.
As you are arriving back in Calgary, Dave and I expect to be departing Port Alice. Our retirement starts in earnest on May 1st.
For now, Tricia, enjoy each moment of your stay in Miami. Our thoughts and prayers go with you wherever you are. And you remain in our hearts wherever we happen to be.
